Fear Can Make You Fat – Conquer Fear Fast

Now fear doesn’t directly make you fat. In fact, being constantly afraid can contribute to a weight problem in two different ways. The first way is through stress.

Stress hormones like cortisol get released into your bloodstream in massive quantities when you’re afraid. Cortisol causes your body to store food as fat. To add insult to injury, the fat gets deposited around your waist. This is the most dangerous place for fat to appear (and looks bad too).

The second way that fear can cause you to gain weight is through overeating. When afraid, most people do anything they can to be free from fear, even for a few minutes. Comfort foods reduce your levels of fear and anxiety, at least for a while. As a result, many people who are dealing with constant fear overeat. The excess comfort food of course ends up as fat.

It seems pretty clear that for lots of people, excess fear contributes to their weight problems. Not to mention that living in fear is a crummy way to live! So what can you do to eliminate the fear factor from your weight loss equation?

Surprisingly, there are a number of proven techniques for quickly reducing or eliminating fear in your life. The editors and staff at Evolution Ezine have created an ebook containing 22 of these techniques. It’s free, and it’s called, “Free From Fear.” The authors of this ebook have taken pains to include techniques that anyone can feel comfortable using, whether you’re a total non-believer, extremely spiritual, or fall somewhere between the extremes.
